Complete clutch assembly, equipped with 100 mm diameter clutch discs, a clutch bell (your choice), and NewFren starter plates, compatible with your Piaggio Ciao, Si, Bravo, and Boxer moped with Variomatic transmission.
Also compatible with your Super-Bravo with Variomat; most commonly found on the popular kick-start models.
High-quality oil seals, correctly installed shims, lubricated needle bearings, and a precisely fitting bearing housing are the hallmarks of this converter clutch.
In the selection window, you can choose between a converter bell from CIF, Malossi, or Polini.
Notes:
For installation on a Piaggio Ciao, the pulleys must be turned down to approx. 96 mm or the frame must be slightly sanded down.
The required belt length when used with a Rennvario on the Ciao ranges from 950 mm (rear engine position) to 975 mm (front engine position). For Piaggio Si models, the length ranges from 1134 mm to 1150 mm.
The installed backpressure spring has the same spring force as the original. For a higher starting RPM, you can replace it with a stiffer version as needed. When installing, make sure the spring tip does not protrude too far into the pulley and could damage the belt.
The starter plates in this set are not yet mounted in the variator bell housing. The components are shipped as individual parts.
