Reinforced clutch designed for your Puch moped with an E50 pedal-start engine. The clutch is rated for racing kits up to 65 cc.
The clutch itself is designed with a reinforcement plate for added stability, which prevents twisting under pressure.
In addition to the included springs, the package contains a splined disc, a kick starter pinion, an adapter disc, and the hex nut required for installation.
The four spring strengths for the respective applications:
- Red (pre-installed springs with thin wire): correspond to the original clutch springs.
- Blue: Stronger spring, for slightly tuned engines.
- Yellow: Stronger spring, for moderately tuned engines.
- Red: Strongest spring, high-end tuning.
Before installing the centrifugal clutch, ensure that the openings of the retaining rings—also known as BZ rings—face outward. This prevents the BZ rings from coming loose during operation.
Note:
We do not recommend using the yellow and red springs (high-end), as the high rotational speed during engagement causes increased friction. This leads to high temperatures and can ultimately result in the clutch being destroyed due to overheating. For better results, we recommend using swiing® springs or even switching to an aramid clutch.
